FAQ

When attending an airshow, it's essential to be well-prepared, but there are certain items you should avoid bringing to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees. Here's a list of what to bring and what not to bring:

Can Bring

  • Tickets and identification: Ensure you have your tickets and any necessary identification with you for entry.
  • Comfortable clothing and footwear: Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on various terrains.
  • Sun protection: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat to protect yourself from the sun. Sun canopies are not allowed due to airport regulations.
  • Water: Carry a non-breakable refillable water bottle to stay hydrated and energized during the event.
  • Camera and binoculars: Capture the exciting moments with your camera or smartphone and bring binoculars for a closer look at aerial displays.
  • Folding chairs or blankets: GA will not have seating. Please bring chairs or blankets to sit on if you are in the general admission area.
  • Cash and cards: Bring some cash and cards for purchasing food, souvenirs, or any other services that might be available at the event.
  • Rain gear: Check the weather forecast and be prepared for any potential rain with a raincoat or poncho.
  • First aid kit: A small first aid kit with basic medical supplies can be handy for minor injuries.
  • Ear protection: Airshows can be loud, so consider bringing earplugs or noise-canceling headphones, especially if you have sensitive hearing.
  • Babies / Children’s food: You are permitted to bring snacks, milk and foods for babies and small children.

Cannot Bring

  • Weapons and dangerous items: Leave all weapons, firearms, knives, and any potentially hazardous objects at home.
  • Alcohol and illegal substances: Airshows are family-friendly events, and alcohol and illegal substances are usually prohibited unless purchased at certified vendors
  • Outside food or beverages: no outside food or beverages are allowed, but you can bring a non-breakable refillable water bottle (see the Can Bring section).
  • Coolers: any cooler filled with outside food or beverages will not be allowed into the Air Show, unless needed for babies/small children’s food and milk (see the Can Bring section).
  • Large bags or backpacks: Avoid bringing large bags or backpacks as they may be subject to search or pose a safety hazard in crowded areas.
  • Pets: With the exception of service animals, leave pets at home as airshows can be loud and crowded, which may stress them out.
  • Glass containers: To prevent injuries and litter, avoid bringing glass containers to the airshow.
  • Distracting items: Do not bring items like laser pointers that could distract or interfere with the pilots or aircraft.
  • Drones: Our airshow has strict rules against bringing drones, as they can interfere with aircraft operations.
  • Unauthorized aircraft or vehicles: Only authorized aircraft and vehicles are allowed on the airshow grounds.

‍

It's always a good idea to check the specific rules and regulations of the airshow you plan to attend, as some events may have additional restrictions or requirements based on the location and the organizers' policies.
